On the occasion of Earth Day, PEDAL accepted the invitation to visit the Leisure Centre at Gessayova in Bratislava (Slovakia) with an interactive presentation.
We have been talking about the bioeconomy as part of our everyday life. Thanks to the BioArt Gallery and the Bioeconomy Village, the children were able to see, taste and even smell the bioeconomy.
During the workshops, they learnt how to use unwanted materials leftover wool, shells or stones to make a beautiful toy.
Additionally, during an experiment, they prepared flower bombs which will be thrown around the Centre's grounds to spread the bio-economy in their neighbourhood.
